The White Hart Inn is situated in one of England's highest market towns, Hawes is known locally as the capital of Upper Wensleydale.  A former coaching Inn dating back to the 18th century, the Pennine Way passes within yards of the door.

The White Hart Inn is also ideally placed for walkers and cyclists (within a designated cycle store).

Mountain bike hire is available nearby.

Our selection of seven comfortable bedrooms are all equiped with televisions and tea/coffee making facilities.

In the morning you can choose from a home cooked Full English or a continental breakfast which is included in our tariff.

Our excellent home-cooked food using local produce is available either in the restaurant or the bar between 12-2 and 6.30-8.30. Morning coffee and afternoon teas are served daily all week.

Our bar offers a selection of ales, lagers, spirits and wines.  With its cosy, friendly atmosphere it is perfect for socialising, or simply enjoying a quiet drink by yourself.

The White Hart also has a large function room which is available to hire for parties, conferences, group meals and wedding recepitons.

We have limited parking and dogs are welcome at a small additional charge.
